We are always looking for motivated and curious students who are excited about research in organizational behavior and communication sciences. Whether you are pursuing a graduate degree or looking to get started as an undergraduate research fellow, there are opportunities to get involved in meaningful research that advances both science and practice.

Graduate students in the Organization and Communication Sciences Laboratory work closely with Dr. Matthew Laske on projects focused on workplace behavior, safety, communication, and public speaking. Students gain experience in research design, data collection, analysis, and dissemination while preparing for careers in academia or applied settings.

Prospective Doctoral Students

Prospective students interested in our interdisciplinary doctoral program will have an emphasis on organization behavior and communication sciences. Funded opportunities include research assistantships and teaching assistantships. Perspective doctoral students are encourage to reach out to Dr. Laske directly prior to submitting their application.​

Prospective Masters Students

Our masters program is widely recognized as among the best behavior analysis programs in the world and fulfills the courses requirements for those seeking Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Our MS program was the first graduate program in the United States to be accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International Accreditation Board.

Undergraduate Research Fellows

Our undergraduate team members are critical to our research and consultative work. Joining the lab provides valuable training, mentorship, and the chance to contribute to ongoing research. UNT students can contribute to research while building their resumes and earning course credit (through BEHV 4900)! Prospective students can also participate in UNT's Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program as part of the Organization and Communication Sciences Laboratory.​
